Geo Walk - World Factbook 3D App Reviews

Its like having a national geographic app on your iPhone with high definition pictures. Also contains a lot of information to make yourself seem smart around others. Definitely recommend.

Although not perfect yet, Geo Walk HD is a wonderful app for getting children to learn about the huge and marvelous world that we live in! I do not have children of my own, but I let my friends young son play with it and he had a really good time exploring the world, looking at the pictures, and taking the quizzes. I dont think that he read much of the text information, but just having a child take interest in different aspects of the world is great! For adults the app is also still entertaining, as there are a lot of things most of us do not know that our complex world has to offer. People who have watched Planet Earth of Life will understand what I am talking about. One downside to the app is that there is only so much information available, which means that it may not have a huge lasting appeal. Also, the file size if fairly large as well. Still recommended if you want to spend some time learning with your children.

A lot of stuff the app told me was new to me! Beautiful UI and informative, what more could you want from a factbook? Get it now!

Also in the interest of accurate journalism please add "2011" to the dates of events that happened this year, as its doubtful you will go back in the future to fix these. Please fix now and use proper dating to minimize confusion. Love this App

This is a wonderful app about geographical sciences.I like it!

Being able to look around the Earth and zoom in on important places, animals, people or wonders of the world is just way cool. Theres even a filter system so you can do specific searches. Everything works well and the illustrations are really high in definition.

When I started reading I couldnt stop reading because all of the things are so interesting.

I got this app when it was free for a week "going back to school" about a week ago and now today it decides to take $2.99 out of my account??

App is Really cool. The NEWS function is really neat, reporting new happenings around the world. Cant wait to show it to my three year old. My only gripe is that some of the grammar, spelling and use of words is a little off. Its almost like a bad translation sometimes. One improvement for the developers would be to add a "audio" button, so that you can hear the descriptions as well as read them. Would make it Uber easy for kids to use. Probably unrealistic as it would make the app HUGE, but one can hope for future updates to include it.

5 stars when this issues fixed. Otherwise great app for kids edu. Would be better if app links to wikipedia.

Well there went three dollars down the drain! Bing has Ten 100 times more info then this thing and its free! This is just a cheap knock off of google earth and it too is free!

Very cheap looking interface and little content aside from what you randomly come across by spinning a virtual globe. This is a very poor app and I dont recommend if your intention is to use it for more than just an idle time waster.

Very basic. Subject-matter disconnected.Overall "learning" environment disjointed.Globe poor.Photos poor and low resolution. Not what it promises to be.

Its a good education app,make fun to explore our world and nature.
