Geo Walk is a world factbook about animals, plants, historical events, famous people, and inventions. All articles can be explored in a fun way by traveling across the globe and learning where the building is, or where the natural habitat of an animal is, or where a famous person lived. Each card has a picture and text, you can share it on the social media or read a Wikipedia article. After reading and exploring you can test your knowledge by answering the quiz.

This app is very nice and full of interresting informations.please make it also in german. Then ill give it a five star rating.
Buy this ! Reminds me a lot of Microsoft Encarta - this is a great learning tool and is fun to use. How about some small videos or audio content to enrich the experience even more ? :-))
I bought all 3 content packs and it seems endless to explore, even if off-line.
Very nice to see that landscape mode on iPod is working.

Kaufempfehlung ! Macht Spass und ist grafisch vom feinsten aufgemacht. Schön wären kleine Videosequenzen oder Audio, aber auch so einfach klasse. Holt euch alle 3 zusatzpakete und ihr habt ewig unterhaltung damit auch offline.
Auch auf iPod im Quermodus, etwas das nichtmal Apple selber vernünftig hinbekommt ( pages,numbers.. )
I really like this app. It is informative, interesting and fun. Having said this what happened to information about Canada? It would be great if you added some of the great facts and data about Canada. Hoping you hear this. I will be looking for updates that demonstrate that you have. :o)
Totally love the concept ! It is beautiful!
On the minus side, I too would like some content added in Canada which is totally empty in the app and if French language was added I would definitely recommend to all my students.

Some bad moments
A couple of pictures around the globe, thats what it is.

It is full of mistakes and horrendous biases and omissions! Erik the Red is shown on the Globe to come from Russia, rather than Norway.

All but two of the people listed are men, and almost all are white. I would never inflict this kind of thing on my, or any other kids!
This app looks nice and works well but the content is very poor.
The facts listed are often inaccurate, making the educational value suspect. Even the image credits contained obvious errors.
The text is obviously written by someone who speaks English as a second language. It was rare to find an entry that had no grammatical errors. Painful to read.
I was so excited to get this app after thoroughly enjoying star walk. The only icon I found for Canada is the transcanada highway. I even installed the extension files and still nothing. No wonder Americans think we live in some wasteland of snow and igloos!
Apparently we have no animals, interesting plants, geography, history or inventors. Who do they keep giving the order of Canada to every year?
Hello there, Im in Canada! You know that country that is north of the 49th. Parallel. Youd think we were a wasteland with little or nothing to warrant a least a cursory mention. This is an example of the little knowledge that our American neighbors have of their best friend. Im very disappointed in this app after seeing Solar Walk. I would give it zero stars if it were possible. I will not be recommending this app to anyone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!
